Description

WRITTEN BY EXPERTS IN CHILD PSYCHOLOGY

Mona was afraid that she wouldn’t be able to hit the basket in the sports games in her playroom. Her fear of failure was so strong that she wanted to give up even before she tried. However, with the support of her trainer, who encouraged Mona’s effort and normalized mistakes, she decided to be brave and try. With practice she was getting better and better and learned that it is not about the result. Effort and persistence are the things that count the most.

Children often face the fear of failure and give up before they even try. The picture book “I try even when it’s hard” helps children to develop perseverance, believe in their abilities and learn from every experience, regardless of the outcome.

The story will speak to children who give up easily when they encounter an obstacle, feel the fear of failure or avoid trying something new because they are afraid they won’t succeed. It is also very helpful for children who quickly lose motivation when things don’t go according to plan or avoid challenges due to fear of failure.

Children will learn that it is okay to make mistakes, that every attempt brings progress, and that effort is more important than perfection. They will develop positive way of thinking and faces challenges more courageously.

Through a simple story children will:

– understand their own fear of failure and how to overcome it
– develop a growth mindset – seeing difficulties as opportunities
– learn through trial and error – mistakes are part of the process, not a reason to give up
– develop perseverance and strengthen self-confidence through own experiences

This picture book is not just a story – it is a practical tool to help adults understand child’s emotional and social challenges. At the end of the book there is an additional educational section with useful guidelines written by experts in child psychology. This section gives support to adults who want to support their children in challenging situations.
